CRAIG SCHLITTER

INSTRUCTOR - SPECIALIZES IN PITCHING

A four-year starter at Bryant University, Schlitter finished his career second all-time with a 28-13 record while posting a career 2.67 ERA over 300 innings of work while leading the Bulldogs to back-to-back regional appearances in 2013 and 2014.
Schlitter racked up numerous accolades including: First Team ABCA All-Northeast, NEC Pitcher of the Year, First Team All-New England, First Team All-NEC, Baton Rouge Regional All-Tournament Team, NEIBA All-Star, NEC All-Tournament Team, NEC Tournament Most Outstanding Player, Four-time NEC Pitcher of the Week.
Schlitter played his collegiate summer ball in the Cape Cod Baseball League where he was a starter for the Falmouth Commodores in 2012 and 2013.

 

Drafted in the 27th round (803rd overall) by the Colorado Rockies. Schlitter spent his rookie campaign in Grand Junction Colorado where he was a reliever posting a 3-1 record with a 2.41 ERA.
Schlitter finished his second full season of pro ball in Advanced A (Modesto, California) after a short stint in A ball (Boise, Idaho) where he posted a 2-0 record as a reliever with a 2.25 ERA while striking out 24 batters in 14 innings.

In 2017, Schlitter worked his way up the ladder by dominating the California League, posting a 10-1 record with a 2.50 ERA. This performance earned him a promotion to the Hartford Yard Goats, Double A affiliate. Schlitter finished the season in Hartford as both a starter and reliever. 

 

This past 2018 season, Schlitter made 22 relief appearances along with 3 starts for Double A Hartford. In July, his versatility awarded him the promotion to Triple A Albuquerque where he made 3 appearances out of the bullpen posting a 3.60 ERA. Craig returned to Double A Hartford where he proved himself yet again, posting a 2.76 ERA through his final 10 appearances.
