CABRAL
INSTRUCTOR - SPECIALIZES IN HITTING, FIELDING, CATCHING AND PITCHING
Cabral was recruited to catch for Northern Essex Community College out of Tewksbury Memorial High School in 2010. He would spend the 2010-2012 seasons with the Knights where he received second team all region accolades his Freshman year. His talent and leadership was recognized once more his Sophomore year when he was named captain, leading the Knights to the Division III Junior College World Series in Tyler, Texas where they would finish 3rd overall in the nation. That same year Manny was elected First Team All Region, was awarded the Regional Defensive Player of the Year, and the coveted National Gold Glove Award. In 2014 Manny was awarded the Outstanding Alumni Award at the Northern Essex CC commencement ceremonies. He is the youngest alumni to ever receive the award.
His talents would continue to earn him recognition at the national level as well as an athletic scholarship to Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas where he would compete at the Division I level for the 2012-2013 season. In the summer of 2013 Cabral would return to the New England Region to play for the Nashua Silver Knights in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League. At the conclusion of that season, he would have more hardware to add to his mantle with the FCBL Commissioner's Award.
In his 2013-2014 season he transferred to Daniel Webster College in
Nashua, NH. where he will be graduating with a psychology degree in the fall of 2015. Will Have been working Baseball camps and clinics since 2008 and offering private instruction as well.
